Pattern: Owlie Socks

Yarn: Malabrigo Sock in Ochre

I normally churn out a few pairs of socks over the summer months and this is my first pair. Truth be told though I think I might have started these back in winter but I made a mistake on the first one and just left it sitting on my sewing desk, about 4 months later I picked it up, the mistake took me 5 minutes to fix and I was off again.

I finished the second in just over a week while watching far too much tennis on TV. I've never knit with this yarn before and have a feeling it might fluff quite badly with a bit of wear, the first sock was unravelled a few times and I can really see the difference. It probably won't bother me too much though, just as well I have just cast another sock on in the same yarn again.
