Pattern: IvyAnna by Shannon Passmore

I loved this pattern when it came out and have had it in my ravelry queue for ages, when I decided to frog my Clapotis because I never wore it (it was too hot and heavy) I thought this yarn would be a good match for this pattern. The yarn is butter soft, I'm pretty sure it's Treliske and this was dyed by Monsoon Designs which sadly is no more.

The buttons are the same but aren't really a good match, one is quite a bit lighter than the other. Anyway I hope I can convince Emma to wear it this winter, it would be very cute with a plain white top underneath.

I also managed to sew up a few new library bags last week seeing as we are nearly back at school.

I decided to line them as the fabric wouldn't be thick enough on it's own, I did initially put another inner layer in there but it was too bulky. I can't believe I will have two at school this year, the time is flying!

Love, love, love the dress, I live in hope that one day my knitting skills will improve to the extent that I can knit things like that for my girls!
