Christmas Sewing

|

I promise this is the last of my doll clothes sewing but unfortunately it's pretty much all I achieved leading up to Christmas.

Pattern: Modkid Mini Naomi

I had hoped to do a few of the matching bags to go with these but I ran out of time (and to be honest I couldn't be bothered!)

Pattern: Modkid Mini Kyoko

For the pink and white t-shirts I used the Basic Pattern Tee though I did adjust it slightly to give it a bit more room. I probably could have easily drafted this one up myself but I was running out of time and wanted to get them done quickly. The shirts are both Liberty Jane patterns.

The cotton skirts were just a basic gathered circle but the denim skirt pattern was also from Liberty Jane as were the jeans and legging patterns. These were great patterns though I did adjust them all to fit the Australian Girl dolls as the American Girls are a bit smaller. I enjoyed making the clothes but it's fair to say I was a little over them by the time Christmas rolled around, I haven't turned my sewing machine on since I finished these. Time to find a new project to get the sewing bug back!

So fabulous! I need to find motivation to sew some more clothes for Mollie's girls. :)

But they are all fabulous and much loved I'm sure. The ones that came to live here get used every day. My only problem I now have to sew similar big girl clothes so they can coordinate lol.
