Farbenmix & Ottobre Sewing

|

I managed to fit some sewing in a few weeks ago, a few things for the girls (yes it's all going to be very pink!)

Ever since I made Emma's Svenja with the mushroom fabric Jess has been asking for a top the same so I decided to whip her up an Antonia. I find the pattern runs a bit short so I added some white stella at the bottom and just did rolled hems. The arms are Hilco campan knit, I love the stripes and wish I had grabbed some more when I could.

Even though it's been freezing lately Emma is obsessed with skirts so I decided to make her a knit skirt with some matching leggings.

The patterns are both from Ottobre 4/2009, #22 Daisy Stripes reversible skirt (though I didn't make it reversible) and #23 Licorice cropped leggings. I love this leggings pattern and made Jess a pair last year, the folds on the legs make them a bit different from plain leggings.

I also made Jess a Whitney dress for summer.

I wish I had a photo of this on it looks so much better than on the hanger. I have some fabric picked out to make one for Em as well.

Please excuse the ordinary indoor photos, when I took these it was pretty horrid outside and these were the best. I would retake some but Emma has already managed to stain her skirt and leggings. :( We have some bricklayers sand in our backyard that our water tanks sit on that the girls love to play in, that stuff stains like nobody's business.

wonderful pieces!
It's a pity that they are stained already, hope you can find a way to get rid of the stains.

They are all gorgeous! I love the leggings - not sure I would have the patience for all those tucks :)
