Pattern: Daydreamer Socks
Yarn: madelinetosh tosh sock in Posy
Yes another pair of socks, I already have my next pair picked out too. These have been in my queue a while and I thought the pink yarn would be a good match with the pattern. The tosh sock is really nice to knit with.
I wasn't so keen on all the flowers that were on the original pattern, I think especially the ones on the heels are not practical for wearing shoes. I only went with two on the top and even then I'm not so sure. If they fall off in the wash it means they weren't meant to be.
I've been doing a bit of dyeing this weekend too.
One good thing (okay the only good thing) about the wind and heat we had yesterday was that I was able to get most of this dyed and dried within the same day - very unusual. I think my favourites are the pink and grey, I did another lot of grey this morning to make a Like Sleeves for Kids for one of the girls. It's not as dark but that's okay, I knew it wouldn't be exactly the same especially with my throw in the pot and hope for the best dyeing style.
With yesterday's weather I also managed to get a whole heap of new fabric washed - and ironed!! The ironing part probably wasn't so clever in the heat but I was on a roll.
Obviously there will be a lot of project bag sewing happening shortly and there are also a few bits in there for me to finish a quilt off with, I think the quilt will have to wait though.

Yay, project bags! :D
Great socks Peta and I agree with you on the flowers. I think the yellow is my fave from your dye stack.
Drooling over your wool. I now have some wool to dye but not yet the dyes. I'm a fan of the flowers- love them :)
Nice socks! I know this sounds silly but do they keep their shape with washing etc? Look so comfy!
LOVE the socks!
The wool looks great. I like the purple.
