Here is the journal/notebook cover I literally just finished making for my niece for Christmas.
We are giving her a box of assorted stationery/notebooks and I thought it would be nice to include a cover for her. I thought about making her one a few weeks ago when we worked out what her present was going to be but I kind of kept putting it off then I decided a few days ago that if I got it done it would be good otherwise I would make it for her for her birthday. Of course then there was no pressure so I got it done!

So now I am done, I have even wrapped all my presents. Very, very unusual for me. I'm looking forward to the big day - maybe even more than my kids. :) I hope you all have a great Christmas!

i love how you put her name on the inside, your measurements are spot on. Great gift. Hope you have had a lovely Christmas and i wish you all the best for 2011. I have not had much time on the computer and miss my daily CM posts but I look forward to getting back there soon.
