Yarn: Bendigo Woollen Mills 8-ply Luxury hand dyed with Landscape dyes
If you have Sewing Clothes Kids Love you have probably seen these arm warmers before, lucky for us they have released the pattern as a Farbenmix e-book. I won't lie, these are about my fourth attempt and in the end I haven't done these as stranded knitting as per the pattern (which by the way is in German... yeah a bit confusing).
I found it really difficult to get my yarn to float with enough give in the round and these were pulling in all sorts of directions so I had patches of colours showing up where they weren't supposed to. I also tried knitting a flat piece and then seaming up the side but I hate seaming and couldn't get the mushrooms to go around the seamed piece properly. In the end I gave up with those and ended up knitting two blank pieces in the round and then embellishing them.
They're still not perfect but I'm happier with them than I think I would have been otherwise. I'm pretty happy with my dye job though, I think I matched them pretty well with the book colours.

They look great. For some reason I can never get my stranded knitting to look any good either.
