I've been getting a little more summer sewing done, this one for Jessica. I'm trying to move her away from so much pink. I did the 110/116 size for her height but found it was too big in the waist even with the elastic at the back so I added elastic to the whole waist to draw it in a bit more. I also left out the skirt insert pieces at the bottom, I really wanted to use the Lovechirp fabric and was worried it was going to look too busy. The last thing I changed was to use snaps to attach the skirt piece, I didn't realise I had to add ribbons in the skirt seams and snaps seemed like an easy option.

She happily tried it on so I think it might be a winner.
